What is Tinplate?

Tinplate (SPTE), is tin plated on both sides of the iron sheet, that is, cold rolled low carbon thin steel plate, rust resistance, corrosion resistance, non-toxic. Mainly used for making metal packaging, including canned food, beverage, chemical, medicine, sanitation, coatings, paints, sprays, cosmetic caps and so on.

The main advantages of tinplate are:

Soft, easy to bend, stretch, punch.
It is lighter in weight than glass jars and not easily broken.
Easy to carry, transport and keep.
It has good thermal conductivity, short sterilization time, and is not easy to break when the temperature changes sharply.
